Infiniteblock develops its own ‘digital asset custody’ platform
Infinitblock (CEO Jung Gu-tae), a blockchain-based fintech startup, announced on the 24th that they had developed a ‘KARBON Custody’ platform specialized for digital assets.
The platform handles all digitized assets that issue on blockchain networks, such as security tokens offering(STO) and non-fungible tokens(NFT), as well as digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. It will serve as a kind of digital vault that can safely store and manage user-owned assets.
KARBON Custody, developed by Infiniteblock, applies multi-sig(multi-signature) technology so that the private key can be safely managed without being exposed to the risk of loss such as external hacking or theft. It also provides a cold wallet that is completely disconnected from the Internet, implementing thorough security.
In particular, UX/UI was adopted to help users easily and conveniently operate and manage the company's assets. It provides functions optimized for managing digital assets owned by companies, such as asset status in the form of a dashboard where users can check the details of their assets at a glance, deposit and withdrawal management, log-data, authority settings, and whitelist management.
Infiniteblock has backed by strategic investments from SK Securities and DGB Daegu Bank, starting with the 'Fintech Innovation Fund' seed investment in August. Through this, it plans to discover and expand collaboration models in the financial sector, such as banks and securities, as well as increase the reliability of the custody business itself.
“In terms of securing our own blockchain technology, which is one of the success factors of the custody business, we have internalized all development stages from platform planning to design, implementation, and verification.” and "Based on our technological prowess, we will complete the acceptance of VASP early next year and start competing in the market in earnest.” said Jung Gu-tae, CEO of Infinitblock.2022.11.28
